For reasons explained in my text blog, I've been remiss in my photo-posting duties.

Now I shall rain down a virtual deluge, for there is much to celebrate in the photographic realm.

First is the recent reunion with my old friend, the Nikon FM -- my trusty 35mm camera that's as old as I am and a perpetual joy to work with.

Second is the new addition to my collection, the Nikon D50. I own this camera simply because Cory is awesome. It turns out that the timing of me receiving it was perfect because my Dad got one too, and if he had had one and I hadn't when my parents came to visit last week then I may have exploded from envy. When I post more pictures you'll understand why too.

I'm building the entries for posting right now, but before they can be displayed I must do a re-design of the site. 400x300 may have worked fine when I had a rinky-dink point-and-shoot digital, but now -- NOW! -- that I have 6.1 megapixels of shiny digital SLR goodness it's a whole new story entirely.

Stay tuned for pictures of Eklutna, Sienna, Flattop, humpback whales, areas so beautiful that you'd never guess that you're in the middle of Anchorage, and -- of course -- silliness with Cory and Stacey.
